I’m a 17 year old white guy living in middle class America. I’ve never exactly been a supporter of feminism because that kind of thing has never really affected me personally. I don’t notice it and I don’t care about it. But in nine minutes this video has made what is truly a serious problem extremely apparent. Those “why I need feminism” posts or those slut-shaming or rape culture campaigns never convince me of anything. But this video actually did I think.

I guess it’s because I got harassed the first seven to eight years in school and then suddenly I turned out invisible. Nobody is noticing me anymore and I’m like.. craving for some attention. It’s not that you don’t fit in, it’s the big city mentality… everybody is always in such a rush that they don’t care for others. The closest city to me is Manchester and when we go there it’s like going to a different world… people try and walk through you, give you odd looks if you do something strange and if they bump into you they give you a look only satan would be able to top lol Here no one really cares what you do …heck if you stopped to look at something I can guarantee that someone else will join you xD I guess maybe I’m just not used to it? To be far we are so far out into the countryside our McDonalds got broken into by a heard of cows that escaped their field lol
I understand, people are cruel like that …first they only notice what’s different and then they ignore anything they don’t deem worth their time. It’s a horrible truth.
But it’s not weird at all, if someone doesn’t get enough love and affection they crave it :) but you are beautiful, seriously. In my heart of hearts I think you are. Not to mention you’re a great writer and have a great personality.
